1380 AIR BRAKE FITTINGS 45° MALE ELBOW

AB Advantages
Easy to assemble, no flaring required. Extruded from CA 360 or CA
345 brass. Readily available in broad selection of configurations and
sizes. AB fittings are pre-applied with Locite Vibra-Seal® 516 on all male
pipe threads.
Specifications
AB fittings meet DOT FMVSS571.106 performance specifications
when assembled with SAE J844 nylon tubing. Meets functional requirements of SAE J246.
Applications
Use with copper tubing in air brake systems. Air Brake bodies are interchangeable
use with SAE J844 nylon tubing.
Working Pressure Ranges
Up to 400 psi.
Temperature Ranges
Fittings will withstand variations from -65° to +250°F.
Assembly Instructions
 Cut tubing squarely and remove burrs.
 Slide nut and sleeve onto tubing.
 Insert tubing into fitting until bottomed on seat. The nut should be
screwed down finger-tight, then wrench-tightened as indicated below
