Fully welded ball valve are mainly used in gas transmission and distribution pipeline, typically for underground and buried installation, this design is also used in many subsea application, where maintenance activities are not foreseen, the main advantage of this valve is that there is no leakage path through the joints. Forged steel body assures uniform the grain structure and toughness free from inevitable casting defects, such as porosity, abscess, sand hole, loosen, slag inclusion, crackle etc.
